Terms of service
Effective October 29, 2026. IV-MTR Tracking ("we", "us") is operated by GigData LLC, 25422 Trabuco Rd STE 184, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
1. The service
We sell Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb) labels and show the USPS Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting (IV-MTR) scan data we receive for them. Barcodes are issued under our USPS Mailer ID, and each one is unique for at least the 45 days USPS requires. We are an independent service, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the United States Postal Service.
2. Label credits
- Labels are bought in prepaid packs at 12¢ per label. One credit creates one label.
- Label credits never expire.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable, including unused credits and labels you created but did not mail.
- Credits are not transferable between accounts and have no cash value.
3. Postage and mail preparation
Labels do not include postage. You are responsible for paying correct postage and preparing each piece to USPS standards. The barcode identifies First-Class Mail letters and flats; use it only on such mail. Print at actual size and do not alter, copy, or reuse a barcode on more than one piece.
4. Tracking data
Scan data comes from USPS and is shown as received. USPS does not scan every piece at every step, letters often have no delivery scan, and data can be delayed or missing. Tracking is informational only; we do not guarantee delivery, delivery times, or the completeness or accuracy of USPS data.
5. Your account
Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Labels you email to your customers must be ones they expect to receive - no unsolicited or bulk email. We may limit, suspend, or close accounts used for abuse, fraud, or unlawful mail, without refund.
6. Public tracking pages
Anyone with a tracking number can see its scan status on this site. Public pages never show recipient names or street addresses.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost or delayed mail.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
