Tracking on everyday mail
Put a tracking barcode on a First-Class letter or flat for 12¢ - no special postage, no software. You and your recipients can follow each piece online.
Print your own labels
Create labels one at a time or upload a spreadsheet of addresses, then print on Avery 5163 sheets, 4×6 labels, or straight onto #10 envelopes.
Send labels to your customers
Email a ready-to-print label to a customer - for return mail, contracts or payments - and both of you can see when it is on the way back.
How it works
- Create an account and confirm your email.
- Buy a label pack - from 100 labels for $12.00. Credits never expire.
- Create and print labels. Each one gets a unique barcode.
- Mail it with regular First-Class postage. Scans appear here as USPS processes the piece.

Frequently asked questions
What is an Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb)?
A 65-bar USPS barcode that encodes a 20-digit tracking code and the destination ZIP code. USPS sorting equipment reads it every time the piece passes through automated processing.
How does IV-MTR tracking work?
Each time USPS scans the barcode, the scan is reported through Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting (IV-MTR) to the Mailer ID on the barcode. We receive that data for every label we issue and show it on the tracking page.
Do labels include postage?
No. A label adds tracking only. Mail each piece with regular First-Class Mail postage, such as a stamp or meter strip.
How soon do scans appear?
Usually within a day of the piece entering the mail. USPS sends scan data in batches, so an event can show up a few hours after the scan itself.
Will I see a delivery scan?
Not always. Letters often have no delivery scan; the last processing scan at the destination facility is usually the final event.
Do label credits expire, and can I get a refund?
Credits never expire. All purchases are final and non-refundable.
